By day, I am a therapist/grad student, but by night, I am an amateur chef! Cooking is my refuge from all of the stress of school.  It’s relaxing (like “yummy therapy!”) for me to cook and enjoy new dishes.

Even my dogs love food!

I love watching the Food Network, reading cooking magazines, trying new recipes, and perfecting them. My husband and I are vegetarians, but I don’t consider what I cook to be “vegetarian food.” Rather, it’s great food that anyone would like…and it just happens to not have meat in it 🙂  I also like to keep my food on the healthy side, without sacrificing taste, of course.

They are my official taste-testers/mascots

This blog is a place for me to tell stories about my cooking adventures (and misadventures), share recipes and photos, and really talk about anything related to food! Happy reading and eating!

Thanks for visiting my blog – I’m glad it led me to yours! I am always looking for meatless meals that don’t “feel” vegetarian, so I’ll definitely be trying some of your recipes!
